Is this considered a review?

I was on a long distance flight and managed to watch three movies. I'm now happy for myself because I've never had that kind of patience. Well... I had it when I was watching D.Gray Man *a long long time ago*.

Anyway, back to the topic. What topic was it again...?

So, the first movie was The Secret Life of Pets. I've seen the teaser online a few months back and fell in love with the CUTE, CUTE, CUTE bunny. The sausage dog (Dachshund: i googled it cause I couldn't spell it right) with the mixer was adorable too. I'll admit, I repeated that clip for who-knows-how-many-times. It's addicting.

Each character had its own cuteness, or trait or whatever you want to call it... it's a whole load of fluff balls in one movie. The storyline thou... isn't my cup of tea. About an hour left before the movie finished, dinner was served and I had a conversation with the lady beside me. She mentioned that she's going to the islands since it's winter. I was more interested in her than the movie at that moment.

Back to the movie: I'd recommend watching it with someone (family, kids, cousins, friends, lovers(?)...) instead of watching it alone. Sad case for me: I was alone. *cries in a corner* I'd say, too, if you want to watch this, please do not go in there with any expectations. It'd still be a fun movie.

The other movie I watch is a romance movie - Sweet Sixteen. I usually wouldn't pick romance stuff... but the Chinese title “夏有乔木,雅望天堂” seems interesting. When reading the introduction, "Kris Wu" was auto highlighted in my mind and I tried it. Although he's not my bias, I'll admit - he's handsome.

Generally, the story wasn't very special, one girl and the story of her life with two very close guys *and another bloody asshole*. I'm sorry, I had to curse to express that bad guy. But I like how it was filmed... executed?... I don't know how to express it. I enjoy watching the movie. The story is not made of fairy-unicorns-candies everything nice. It's on the gloomy side. So beware to the fairy-tale-loving fans.

By the way, halfway through the movie I slapped myself cause HanGeng *so charming!* was the lead guy and I COULD NOT IDENTIFY him earlier. My mind didn't click until he had his hair cut extra short. I feel so bad for not recognizing him earlier.

After the meal I decided to watch another movie called Genius. It's based on a true story of a novelist who is... some sort of a genius writer... and he's not the model husband... and he's really close with his editor...Something like that. I find the story quite interesting, thou I was too tired at the last part and dozed off for about 10 minutes. Sorry, it was 1:00 am (in London) and I couldn't help it.

The novelist's wife is sort of emotionally(?) unstable as the story continues, understandable when you have a husband who's... you'll decide for yourself when you watch it. I don't think many would enjoy this kind of film *I like it* since it's a biographical movie. Did I mention that the lead actress is pretty? I'm not good at matching faces and names so Wiki helped me and her name is Nicole Kidman. I might have mentally drooled over whenever she appears.

Here is my essay (or rambling) for the day.
